Western style ankle boots for Spring

It was officially Spring the other day… but the weather did not agree! Today it’s snowing… gaaah!
Spring season is known for its unpredictable weather – one day it’s sunny and about 10 degrees, next day it’s snowing and the temperature will barely go over zero!

People usually get confused on what clothes to wear in early Spring, and especially when it comes to shoes. At this time of year I usually put away my knee-high winter boots just to make a statement to myself that it’s Spring, and I take my ankle boots out instead. Boots like these are perfect for this weird in-between season.

But what style of ankle boots shall we go for? The style that seems to be popular at the moment is the western/cowboy inspired boot. Have you seen the new TV series Nashville? It’s the latest big series that has just come out, and all you see in it is cowboy boots. Here’s stunning actress Hayden Panettiere as Juliette Barnes wearing a pair of tan coloured cowboy boots in the series Nashville.

Now, I understand that proper cowboy boots might not be the best option for all of us, but looking around in the high-street shops you can clearly see styles that are western inspired. I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely a fan!

But hey - let's not go as far with the cowboy boot trend as in the wedding picture below, right...?
